Legacy Connections Small Groups is an exciting ministry that ministers to every person on their level no matter where they are in their walk with the Lord.  Our motto for this ministry is: GET CONNECTED!  We find that it's very difficult for church members to get the one-on-one attention that is needed from the local church during regular church service times.  That's why the Apostles, back in the early New Testament church, created the most ingenious way of ministering to the individual needs of the people - by breaking them down into "small groups".
    In Act 2:42-47, it was very plain to see that the church was growing at such a exponential fast rate that they not only met regularly together in the temple for corporate worship, but they broke down the people into small groups that usually met in each other's homes.  This way, every person's needs could be met.  Jesus even exemplified this same strategy by surrounding Himself with His small group of 12 friends called His disciples.
    This same Biblical principle is being followed here at LC.  Lives are formed and transformed in small groups when people meet together on a regular basis to pray for each other, to study God's Word together, to engage in fellowship with each other, and to work on specific tasks together.
    So, what are you waiting for?  Are you connected?  If you're not connected to a local church then this ministry will help you find your place in the Kingdom of God right here in the LC family!

    That's right!  Anyone can sign-up for a small group at anytime.  These small groups take the place of the usual mid-week evening services; therefore, LC doesn't have mid-week services at the church due to small group meetings held throughout the city Monday through Friday.  They meet for one series (8 weeks) and then immediately restart a brand new series allowing people to make smooth transitions if necessary.  One series is broken down as follows:

One Series = 7 in-home meetings and 1 fellowship time:
- Meet first 7 weeks in homes
- On the Wednesday during the 8th week, all the groups meet together at the church for a time of fellowship, fun, and games at 7:00 p.m.
- When there is a 5th Wednesday of the month, all groups meet at church for time of praise celebration and testimonies starting at 7:00 p.m.
