Our Statement of Faith
-
We believe there is only one living and true God, eternal with unlimited power. This one God is creator of all things and is revealed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, II Corinthians 13:14, John 1:1, Ephesians 4:6, Matthew 28:19, I John 5:7)
-
We believe and accept the entire Bible as the infallible Word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit in the original manuscripts; the only and perfect order of our faith and manner of living; to which nothing can be added or taken away, which is the power of God unto salvation to believers. (II Peter 1:21, II Timothy 3:16-17, Romans 1:16)
-
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the Word made flesh who assumed the human body through the Virgin Mary. He was truly God and truly man, two natures in one person, the divine and human. Jesus lived a sinless life, died a vicarious and atoning death on a cross for the sins of the whole world, resurrected bodily for our justification, and now eternally reigns in Heaven. (John 1:14, I Peter 3:18)
-
We believe that salvation or being “born again” is received only through faith in Jesus Christ and is attained by grace. They who are in Christ Jesus (cleansed through His blood) are new creatures and have Him for wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption. We become believers unto salvation according to: Romans 1:16-17, 3:24-25, I Corinthians 15:1-4, II Corinthians 5:17, II Corinthians 1:30.
-
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and explicitly in Jesus’ name. Water baptism is subsequent to salvation. (Matthew 28:19, Luke 24:47, Acts 2:38, 8:16, 10:48, 19:5)
-
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit it is an endowment of power received subsequent to salvation, with the initial physical sign of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance. This power is given by God to anoint the believer for sanctification and evangelism. This supernatural endowment on the believer is still active within the Body of Christ until the coming of the Lord. Furthermore, we believe the development of these charismatic gifts ought to be encouraged under the guidance of the local church authorities. (Acts 2:4, 8:14-17, 10:45-46, 19:1-2 & 6, I Corinthians 12:4-7)
-
We believe in the literal second coming of Jesus Christ for His church, the literal rule of Christ upon the earth, the resurrection of the saved to eternal life in heaven and the unsaved to eternal damnation in hell, and the ultimate victory of the eternal Kingdom of God. (Daniel 12:2, Matthew 25:46, John 5:28-29, Acts 1:9-11, 24:15, I Thessalonians 4:16-17, I Corinthians 15:51-54, Revelations 22:1-7)
Our Vision Scripture
Philippians 1:6
"And I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again."

-
We believe that provision is made in the redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ for the healing of the body. Prayer for the sick and anointing with oil are taught in the Scriptures and are privileges for the church in this present age. (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:16-17, Mark 16:18, John 5:14, James 5:14)
-
We believe in the Lord’s Supper (Communion). This is to continually remind us of the purpose of His death for all mankind. (Luke 22:19-20, I Corinthians 11:23-26)
-
We believe that man was made in the image of God and is the crown of His creation. Man is now, by reason of the fall of Adam and Eve, spiritually alienated from his Creator. Apart from God’s grace and His salvation power, he has no ability to attain to his high calling. (Psalms 8, Ephesians 2:8-9)
-
We believe that justification is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ’s death on the cross. (Romans 3:21-24)
-
We believe that the callings of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher are still functioning in the Body of Christ today and will continue until the Lord’s return. Furthermore, these ministries are gifts to the church for the purpose of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, that the Body of Christ be edified. (Ephesians 4:11-16)
-
We believe the identity of the Body of Christ on the earth is primarily perceived through the local church. We strongly confess the local church to be sovereign and autonomous. (Revelations 2-3)
-
We believe in the priesthood of the believer. That is to say, all people born of God have equal status before, and direct access to, Jesus Christ. (I Peter 2:5)
-
We believe in the spiritual unity of all who are born of God. We confess even those with whom we disagree, those who do not confess us, and others whom we exclude because of our unwillful ignorance. (I Corinthians 12:12-14)
-
We believe that those who are called by the name of Christ should depart from iniquity. Understanding that salvation from the penalty of sin only begins the process of redemption, we acknowledge that the work of the Holy Spirit is to create in us the character of Christ. (II Timothy 2:19)
