OTHER NEWS & UPCOMING CHURCH EVENTS

1/7 - Wednesday Night Live Youth

***The youth is having a contest to have at least 30 youth at a Wednesday evening "Wednesday Night Live".  When this is reached, Pastors Todd and Stephanie will take them to Chuck E. Cheese for an evening of pizza and fun!***

The Legacy Youth Ministry meet every Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. for their weekly "Wednesday Night Live" services.  This youth service is a youth-owned and operated ministry with training provided by the Youth Ministry team leaders.
The youth do the work of the ministry from the praise & worship (musicians and vocalists) to the audio/visual, the ushering, and even giving some devotionals.  We want to help them cultivate a relationship with God that will last past their teenage years.  This gives them responsibility and provides them a purpose to show that God can use them right now in their youth years!.  For more info, please contact our Legacy Youth Team Leaders, Jim & Amy Julien.

1/18 - Prayer & Communion Service

Pastor Todd is encouraging everyone to attend our next monthly corporate prayer and communion service on Sunday, January 18th from 6:00-7:00 p.m.

This corporate time together to seek the face of God is held every month on the 3rd Sunday evening.  Come and experience a time of refreshing from the prayers of others that have a passion and zeal for the Lord.
Communion will also be served on the 1st Sunday of each month at the end of the 10:00 a.m. morning service.

1/24 - Youth B.L.A.S.T. Night

What does B.L.A.S.T. stand for?  Big Loud Awesome Spirit Thing.  The next B.L.A.S.T. night will be Saturday, January 24th from 7:00-10:00 p.m.  Youth grades 7-12 gather together at the church on the 4th Saturday evening of each month for a night filled with games, fun, and fellowship.  It's kinda like a lock-in, minus the having-to-stay-awake-all-night thing.
Every youth is invited and encouraged to attend.  See our Youth Ministry Team Leaders, Jim & Amy Julien, for more details.

We are having our next shelter ministry outing to the Haven of Rest Ministries on Sunday, January 25th from 1:00-3:30 p.m. Haven of Rest is a Christ-centered non-profit ministry specializing in ministry to the homeless in our city.
We are asking for your help in volunteering on the 4th Sunday of each month where we are committing as an outreach for our church to help in their feeding program. If you are not able to attend, we are asking you to help supply desserts. You may bring your desserts to that morning's service and we will get them there.
Please sign up on the board by the kitchen whether you can serve and/or just supply a dessert. For questions or to sign up as a volunteer, you can email our Haven of Rest Ambassadors, Karl and Cyndi Stover.
